The video above shows police walking down a row of totally peaceful protestors blocking a sidewalk and spraying pepper spray on their faces. I hope those who criticized the violence of a small number of anarchists in Oakland will be as unstinting in their criticism of the police here, though for some mysterious reason the national media does not seem to be covering this.
